What is it?

A shared support structure designed to reduce the cost and complexity of tidal-stream and offshore wind farms

HydreManche® is a patented modular foundation concept designed to support several energy-production modules on a single shared base.

Instead of installing each turbine as an isolated machine, with its own foundation and repeated offshore operations, the HydreManche® approach is based on shared infrastructure at farm scale.

Why does it matter?

Because offshore renewable energy is not only a question of turbines. It is also a question of installation, maintenance, connection, safety, decommissioning and long-term operating cost.

HydreManche® aims to reduce heavy offshore operations, limit recurring interventions at sea, improve operational control and make tidal-stream and offshore wind projects more credible from an industrial and economic standpoint.
